Hospice
Watching your loved one suffer through a debilitating illness
is never easy. Mount Alverna Village works with a number
of hospice programs in order to have a compassionate and supportive
team of professionals
onsite to help you at this time. They emphasize the controlling
of pain and ensure your family member’s dignity of life is always
maintained.
Your family is cared for by a select team of nurses, home health
aides, volunteers, social services and pastoral care associates
who work together with your family and your physician(s) to develop
a supportive care environment. In addition, your family receives
support services to cope with grief and loss, as well as spiritual
counseling.
